“Well-Being is the basis of this Universe. Well-Being is the basis of All-That-Is. It flows to you and through you. You have only to allow it. Like the air you breathe, you have only to open, relax, and draw it into your Being.”
“To pray means to open your hands before God. It means slowly relaxing the tension which squeezes your hands together and accepting your existence with an increasing readiness, not as a possession to defend, but as a gift to receive.”
The Art of Allowing is about allowing people, things and events as they are – without wanting to fix, change or judge anything. It is about using your emotions as a guide towards feeling better and better.
“I will step back and let God lead the way.” A Course In Miracles
“I will practice the art of allowing today.”
Let’s spend today practicing the art of allowing, instead of trying to fight, manipulate and change things on our own. Instead of trying to make the world the way we think it should be, let’s just let it go and see how God would have it be for us. If we need to do or say anything, let’s allow Him to give us the words and actions that He would choose for us.
We would be amazed at how lovely and peace-filled and open our life would be, so filled with light that not one dark thought could ever hide there. How great would be our relief if we allowed Him to remove from us all the burdens that we carry. If something disturbs our peace, let’s not try to fix it, but simply pray, “God, I give this to you.” And then think no other thoughts, but simply grow quiet and watch a whole new world unfold for us.
See how we are gently guided here and there. See how loving opportunities open up before us. Hear the perfect words flow through our minds so we can speak them. As we allow Him to be in charge, we will watch in joyous wonder at how all we thought was impossible has been quietly corrected with everyone content and loving smiles all around.

Watch this short Alan Watts video and really listen to what he is saying. Best description of the waking up journey I’ve ever heard. Really hear what is being said. I hope you enjoy the wonderful weekend you are going to have. 🙂
