Into Oneness

“Unconscious as it may be, you have made a spiritual commitment to everyone you are now in contact with, and they to you. You have chosen to work together in order to reach a higher level of consciousness. Therefore, when interacting with another, do not see their interest as apart from yours. You and they are One, thus the honest expression of your truth will begin to awaken theirs. There is a boundless truth/light within you, but you must allow it to shine outwards for it to be seen, experienced, and fully understood. Offer gratitude to your sister and brother for they, in their own ways, are allowing you the space for your light to shine. The more you experience your light shinning, the easier it will be for you to see it reflecting from others, and then both your lights will shine brighter together than alone.

As you continue to teach this light, the joy, peace, compassion, forgiveness, love, and hope that you are, the differences between your sisters, brothers, and you will fade, grow dim, and dissolve back into a Oneness, new to you, and yet somehow quite familiar.”

Relax Where You Are

“Expansion never happens through greediness or pushing or striving. It happens through some combination of learning to relax where you are and, at the same time, keeping the possibility open that your capacity, my capacity, the capacity of all beings, is limitless. As we continue to relax where we are, our opening expands.”

Purification of Motive

“The spiritual journey could be seen as a constant purification of motive until I can finally say, ‘I have no other reason to do anything except love of God and love of neighbor. And I don’t even need people to know this.’ When I can say this I have total and full freedom. I can no longer be bought off! Finally I realize that my life is not about me. It’s about Love.”

Lead Us Beyond

“Inclusive God, merciful God, God of the inner heart, lead us beyond mere external religion and ‘blowing of trumpets’…. Teach us instead to love you, you who alone are good, all good, and in every good. You make us good in spite of our denials and defenses. And that is why we love you.”
